[ARCHIVED] Detectives Investigate Homicide in Temple Hills

Our Homicide Unit is actively working to find and arrest the suspect(s) in a fatal shooting in Temple Hills on Monday. The victim is 24-year-old Timothy Demetric Turner of Rose Marie Drive in Fort Washington. Preliminarily, detectives do not believe this was a random act. A reward of up to $25,000 is being offered for information leading to an arrest and indictment in this case.

At about 3:15 pm, patrol officers were called to the 7000 block of Allentown Road for a shooting. When they arrived, they found the victim outside suffering from gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead on the scene.

Detectives are working to identify the motive.
