[ARCHIVED] Detectives Arrest Three Suspects in Brandywine Homicide

Our Homicide Unit arrested three suspects in last week’s fatal shooting of 22-year-old Ra’ Shaad Hargrave of Waldorf. The suspects are 21-year-old Rodney Nedd Jr, of the 15000 block of Benjamin Ring Street in Brandywine, 22-year-old Antonio Howard Jr, of the 15000 block of Chadsey Lane in Brandywine and 19-year-old Aiden Hicks of the 7000 block of Chadds Ford Drive in Brandywine.

On May 2nd, at about 1:45 pm, patrol officers were called to the 15100 block of General Lafayette Boulevard for a shooting. When they arrived, they found the victim outside suffering from gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead on the scene.

Preliminarily, the motive appears to be a marijuana-related robbery. The three suspects are charged with first degree murder and related charges.
