[ARCHIVED] Prince George’s County Announces Holiday Closings for Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day

County government offices will close on Monday, January 16, 2023, in observance of
Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day

LARGO, MD – The Prince George’s County Department of the Environment (DoE) announces the following services and facilities will be closed or suspended on Monday, January 16, 2023:

Collections occur on Monday, January 16, 2023

TheBus, a public transit service operated by the Prince George’s County Department of Public Works and Transportation, will operate a regular schedule on Monday, January 16, 2023, except for Route 51x service to the Equestrian Center/Courthouse. Regular operations of Route 51x will resume on Tuesday, January 17, 2023. In addition, the County’s Call-A-Bus and PGC Link services will not operate on Monday, January 16, 2023. Regular operations of the Call-A-Bus and PGC Link services will resume on Tuesday, January 17, 2023. 

The Prince George’s County Department of Permitting, Inspections and Enforcement will be closed on Monday, January 16, 2023. Regular business hours will resume on Tuesday, January 17, 2023.

Also, PGC311 will be closed on Monday, January 16, 2023, and will return to regular operations on Tuesday, January 17, 2023, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. However, residents can still submit service/issue requests online at PGC311.com.
