Fall Service Changes

The Prince George’s County Department of Public Works and Transportation (DPW&T) implemented its Fall service changes for TheBus and transit routes on Sunday November 13, 2022.

DPW&T is always looking for ways to improve the experience of our riders, and with the below changes to the 6 routes we will be able to increase timeliness and efficiency for all riders commuting through Prince George’s County.

Route changes include:
Route 15X (Greenbelt Metrorail Station-New Carrolton Metrorail Station) will be reactivated with an enhanced 40-minute frequency
Route 18 (Langley Park Transit Center-Addison Road Metrorail) and Route 21 (New Carrolton Metrorail Station-County Courthouse/Equestrian Center) will have minimal changes in service
Route 34 (Suitland Metrorail Station-Capitol Crossing Apartments) will add a midday peak service and run at a 30-minute frequency
Route 51X (Equestrian Center-Courthouse-Chrysler Building) will be adjusted in order to maintain an 8-minute frequency
