?Largo, MD --- The Prince George’s County Draft FY 2017 Annual Action Plan for Housing and Community Development is now available for public comment for a period of 30 days. The public comment period will end on April 22, 2016. The Annual Action Plan (“AAP”) for Housing and Community Development is a comprehensive strategy that describes actions, activities, and programs that will take place during FY 2017 to address priority needs and specific objectives identified in the FY 2016-2020 Consolidated Plan. The AAP also serves as an application for Federal funds: Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), Emergency Solutions Grants (ESG), and HOME Investment Partnerships (HOME).
The FY 2017 formula allocations for the County are: CDBG - $4,461,422 plus $204,933 in Program Income; HOME - $1,016,981 plus $1,060,771 in Program Income, and ESG - $387,732 plus $387,732 in Matching Funds.
