LARGO, MD – The Prince George’s County Health Department’s COVID-19 vaccination clinic at the Wayne K. Curry Sports and Learning Complex will stay open until 7:00 p.m. on Fridays and until 6:00 p.m. on Sundays to give families of children ages five and older more opportunities to get protected from the virus.

The clinic will be CLOSED:

• Thursday, Nov. 11th for Veterans Day
• Sunday, Nov. 14th for a Washington Football Team home game

Walk-ins at Sports and Learning are accepted but appointments for children are encouraged. Visit mypgc.us/COVIDvaccine to make an appointment. 

Free COVID-19 vaccinations for children five and older are available at a growing list of local health care providers. Parents and legal guardians are encouraged to contact their pediatrician’s office or their nearby pharmacy. To search nearby clinics, use the County’s vaccine locator. 

In addition, the Health Department’s mobile vaccine clinic schedule at County high schools is expanding to include elementary schools starting Monday, Nov. 8.  Individuals five and older can receive free COVID-19 vaccinations at multiple schools Monday through Friday during afterschool hours for first doses and second doses. Each clinic will have Pfizer, Moderna, and Johnson & Johnson vaccine supply available; Pfizer is currently the only vaccine brand authorized for children.

Families can directly book their first-dose appointments by using the unique link beside each elementary school clinic in the schedule below. Second-dose appointments will be scheduled at the first-dose visit. A full list of school clinics is on mypgc.us/COVIDvaccine. Walk-ins will also be accepted at the school mobile clinics, but appointments are encouraged.

Individuals younger than 18 receiving vaccinations must have a parent or legal present at the clinic to complete the appropriate consent form.
