LANHAM, MD – Prince George’s County State’s Attorney Aisha N. Braveboy today attended the ribbon cutting ceremony for the grand opening of the new Children’s National Hospital Prince George’s County Regional Outpatient Center.

"I am so excited that this important project that I helped to lead when I was on staff at Children’s National is finally opening,” said State’s Attorney Braveboy. “The regional outpatient center will be an integral part of the health care safety net for children and families in Prince George’s County and beyond."

After more than two years of construction, Children’s National will officially open the doors to its new Regional Outpatient Center in the Woodmore Towne Center.

Braveboy was invited to participate in this event by Dr. Kurt Newman, President & CEO of Children’s National Hospital. She was joined by Senators Joanne C. Benson (District 24) and Douglas J.J. Peters (District 23), Delegates Andrea Harrison (District 24) and Geraldine Valentino-Smith (District 23) and Prince George’s County Councilmembers Calvin Hawkins (Vice Chair) and Jolene Ivey (District 5) at the socially responsible ceremony this morning where a limited number of guests were invited to attend the event in person.
