“We’re excited to be hosting this beneficial event again this year,” commented Adam Ortiz, DoE Director. “Not only are we reducing the amount of waste that goes to the County landfill, but we’re helping County residents with their garden and landscaping needs by giving away free mulch.”
The mulch will be provided on a load-your-own-while-it-last basis and is restricted to non-commercial vehicles, at a ¾ ton maximum weight. A front-end loader will be available to assist residents load mulch into pickup trucks. Residents loading mulch into their vehicles must bring their own containers and tools.
