Prince George’s County Executive Rushern L. Baker, III Named Maryland Hispanic Chamber of Commerce “Outstanding Elected Official of the Year”

Upper Marlboro, MD – Last week, the Maryland Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (MDHCC) announced their 2017 “Business Excellence Awards” and honored Prince George’s County Executive Rushern L. Baker, III with the “Outstanding Elected Official of the Year Award”. County Executive Baker was one of eight individuals and organizations in the State of Maryland who were honored during the MDHCC’s 5th Annual Business Award Holiday Gala.

In awarding County Executive Baker this honor, the MDHCC stated, “We want to congratulate all 2017 Business Excellence Awards nominees. These are individuals and organizations who have shown continued dedication and commitment to the Hispanic business community and the organizations that support it”, said the MDHCC Chairman and President, Jorge Eduardo Castillo.
