[ARCHIVED] Prince George’s County Announces Holiday Closings for New Year’s Day

County offices will close on Monday, January 1, 2018 in observance of the New Year’s Day holiday


LARGO, MD – The Prince George’s County Department of the Environment (DoE) announces the following services and facilities will be closed or suspended on Monday, January 1, 2018.

TheBus, a public transit service operated by the Prince George’s County Department of Public Works and Transportation, will not operate on Monday, January 1, 2018. Regular operations of TheBus will resume on Tuesday, January 2, 2018. In addition, the County’s Call-A-Bus service will not operate on Monday, January 1, 2018. Regular operations of the Call-A-Bus services will also resume on Tuesday, January 2, 2018.

The Prince George’s County Department of Permitting, Inspections and Enforcement will be closed on Monday, January 1, 2018. Regular business hours will resume on Tuesday, January 2, 2018.

In addition, Prince George’s CountyClick 3-1-1 will be closed on Monday, January 1, 2018 and will return to regular operations on Tuesday, January 2, 2018; 7 a .m. – 7 p.m.  However, residents can still submit service/issue requests online at www.countyclick311.com/.
