Prince George's County Clear the Curb Waste Collection Programs modernize and streamline residential services for more than 180,000 residents. County residents who are eligible to participate in our waste collection programs receive ONE free wheeled trash, recycling, and compost cart to help ensure items are properly disposed of.
If you receive County trash and recycling services, residents can now put out up to two items of regular bulky trash, with your regular trash collection - no appointment needed! Scrap tires and white goods including refrigerators, air conditioners, washers, dryers, and other appliances, will still need to be scheduled for pickup through PGC311. See all the details here.
Eligible residents in North, South, and Central County can get rid of their food scraps every Monday! Learn more about the curbside collection of food scraps and how you can help keep your environment clean and green.
The Resource Recovery Division provides trash collection services to approximately 180,000 homes. Residents in the County-contracted collection areas should place their trash containers at the front curb by 6 a.m. on their regularly scheduled collection day.
