Will Preparation Campaign 2022

MetLife Legal Plan

Will Preparation Services

Employees can purchase Extra Life Insurance administered by MetLife. This extra coverage is fully paid by the employee. If you have enrolled or are considering enrolling in Extra Life insurance with MetLife, there is an additional will preparation benefit that is available to you with no added cost.

Where There’s a Will… There’s a Way!

MetLife Legal Plans offer valuable legal resources to assist you with creating or updating a will at no additional cost with your Extra Life Insurance coverage.  The service provides:

  • Personal advantage: Having a will prevents unnecessary stress and ensures your final wishes are clear.
  • Unlimited access: Talk to an attorney as many times as needed to prepare, update, or revise a will.

  • Protection for the unexpected: Prepare living wills, financial powers of attorney, and an advance directive to help ease the stress if you become unable to make decisions for yourself.

Choose to meet with a network of attorneys in-person or by phone for a one-on-one consultation in a private and supportive environment. There are no claim forms to file for covered services when using a network attorney and fees are taken care of through your Extra Life Insurance plan. To help find the right fit for you, you can also use an out-of-network attorney; however, the fees reimbursed for these services are based on a set fee schedule.
