Working Remotely
The Office of Information Technology would like to make sure that all county employees have the needed tools to work remotely.
REMINDER: County policy prohibits the use of a County laptop, or accessing any County data, on a public WiFi spot.
Preparations
Before working from home, use this checklist to make sure everything is ready.
- Internet is available at your remote location
- Check the below list of applications to know if VPN access is needed and request if necessary
- Test access to needed systems from your remote location
If you have any issues, report them to your IT Coordinator to get them fixed as quickly as possible.
