Announces 2018 Area V Student Scholarship Recipient
The Maryland Emergency Management Association (MDEMA) has announced that Drew Calhoun has been named the recipient of the 2018 Area V Student Scholarship. Area V represents the National Capital Region, which is compromised of Montgomery, Prince George's and Frederick counties.
The purpose of the scholarship program is to nurture, promote and develop future emergency management professionals by furthering the education of students studying the emergency management career field or related fields. It’s the objective of MDEMA to financially assist full-time students pursuing an associate or baccalaureate degree in emergency management or a closely related career field.
