​AMENDMENTS TO THE HOUSING CHOICE VOUCHER (HCV) ADMINISTRATIVE PLAN & ADMISSIONS AND CONTINUED OCCUPANCY POLICY (ACOP)

The Housing Authority of Prince George's County (HAPGC) is proposing to amend the Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) administrative plan and the Admissions and Continued Occupancy Policy (ACOP). The proposed chapters are as followed Applications, Waiting list and Tenant Selection, Subsidy Standards and Voucher Issuance, Housing Quality Standards and Rent Reasonableness Determinations, Re-examinations and Monitoring, Income and Subsidy Determination and Informal Hearings for the HCV Administrative Plan.

​The HAPGC is proposing to add a Smoke Free Policy to the ACOP.​​
​
​The HAPGC public comment period will begin on Thursday June 23, 2016 and the HAPGC will continue to receive written comments until Friday July 22, 2016 at 5:00pm. The Public Hearing will be held on July 13, 2016 beginning at 5:00pm and ending at 6:30pm, the location of the hearing is 1801 McCormick Dr. Largo, Maryland 20774 1st floor conference room.

HCVP and Public Housing programs are federally funded; locally administered rental assistance programs that help low-income families, the elderly, and individuals with disabilities afford decent, safe housing.
