On Wednesday, March 14, 2018, The Office of Community Relations and the 311 Call Center Division hosted a delegation from Indonesia. Mrs. Hawkins, Senior Manager, Mr. Daverne, Operations Manager from the 311 Call Center along With Mr. Smith, the Community Engagement & Affairs, Multicultural Coordinator provided a presentation and overview of our operation and discussed how data collected from the County is used to improve the efficiency, accountability, transparency and responsiveness of our County government.

Wow! Can you believe that it’s been 5 years since the CountyClick311 Call Center was launched? Special thanks to the team who is transforming customer service for Prince George’s County Government!
During the past 5 years we have handled over 1,117,000 calls, emails, letters, service requests and walk-ins. These service requests include everything from animal control requests, code enforcement, bulky trash, potholes, to tree trimming and illegal dumping.
What is National Customer Service Week?
Customer Service Week is an international celebration of the importance of customer service and of the people who serve and support customers on a daily basis. In 1992 the U.S. Congress proclaimed Customer Service Week a nationally recognized event, celebrated annually during the first full week in October. Customer Service Week has grown into an international event, which celebrated in all 50 states and over 40 counties
2017 Customer Service Week theme is Building Trust. The theme recognizes the importance of trust in forming strong, productive, and lasting relationships with customers and coworkers.
While the bold black, orange, and yellow logo animates the theme with references to construction and building.
Prince George’s County 311 Call Center along with Communities and Police all over the county, attended The Annual National Night Out on August1st, 2017. This event shows support to the community by sending a message to criminals letting them know that neighborhoods are organized and are working collaboratively with ourlaw enforcement, in order to watch out for each other and address any crime and disorderly issues.
