Dear Friends and Citizens of Prince George’s County:
We are pleased to welcome you to these Commission webpages as a source of useful information about one of the most important agencies in county government - The Prince George’s County Human Relations Commission. We remain committed to delivering the best and most timely civil rights enforcement services possible. For those that seek our assistance with Embracing Diversity and Ending Discrimination, or with our newest tasking, Combating Human Trafficking, we can be reached through this site using the listed email addresses or telephone numbers provided. Although, we do not take complaints through the website or by email, we will respond to your requests to schedule an appointment so that you can discuss your case with an investigator. As always, we are actively investigating, mediating and prosecuting, civil rights cases and our webpages are also used to publish information about those cases. Additionally, we hope to bring you reports regarding the Commission’s activities on civil rights and human relations issues.
Because of the leadership of County Executive Baker we are poised to do more every day to protect the civil rights of county residents and visitors. The Commission webpages are a window to our work as a team of staff and Commissioners, but more importantly they will serve as a useful portal for information on civil and human rights in Prince George’s County and timely updates on our success as a County in Embracing Diversity and Ending Discrimination. Please let us know, from time to time, if there is something you would like us to add, or if there is information that needs to be made more accessible. Thank you for visiting.
D. Michael Lyles, Esquire
