Management and Budget

The Office of Management and Budget (OMB) is responsible for budget formulation, fiscal control, program and project control and evaluation, and management and policy analysis. Under Section 802 of the County Charter, the Director of the Office of Management and Budget is responsible to the County Executive for assisting in the preparation of the annual Current Expense and Capital Budgets of the County and advising upon any request for County funds and revenue needs. This office studies budget execution and the efficiency of agencies' organization, methods and procedures, and prepares related reports.
