Prince George's County Youth@Work/SYEP

The Prince George’s County Youth@Work/Summer Youth Enrichment Program (SYEP)provides an opportunity for young people across the County to participate in career development, life-skills training and summer employment opportunities.

This robust and exciting initiative is a collaboration between Prince George’s Community College, the Greater Prince George's County Business Roundtable, the Prince George's County Chamber of Commerce, the Public George's County Public Schools, the Maryland National Capital Park and Planning Commission and the Prince George’s County Government.  As stakeholders of the greater Prince George’s County community, we pledge and are committed to provide quality and enriching opportunities for our youth!
 
The Prince George's County Youth@Work/SYEP Program has several components:

Job Readiness Training

To prepare for job success, County youth are strongly encouraged to register for Youth@Work/SYEP job readiness training, offered in partnership with the Prince George's Community College and Prince George's County Public Schools.  Participants will receive a certificate of completion at the end of the program and priority placement for summer employment positions. Summer Employment Opportunities

 
County youth may apply for positions in the public and private sector through several resources, including the County government and the Maryland National Capital Park and Planning Commission (M-NCPPC).
