Community Impact Grants

The Redevelopment Authority is now accepting applications for a new round of Community Impact Grants (CIG). The purpose of the Community Impact Grant Program is to provide small capital grants to community based organizations to implement innovative projects.

Grants must be used for capital expenses and cannot be used for operations, salaries or personnel.

In FY 2016, $250,000 is available to county civic/neighborhood associations or community-based organizations that are incorporated as 501©3 entities. Eligible applicants must be located within Prince George’s County and be in good standing with the State of Maryland.
The maximum grant amount is $50,000. The Community Impact Grant Program does require a match from non-Prince George’s County Government sources, which can include both in-kind and cash contributions.

Applications are due April 18, 2016. For more information, contact Tanya Diggs at 301-883-5300.
