LARGO, MD – The Prince George’s County Department of Public Works and Transportation (DPW&T) will partner with the Department of Corrections’ (DOC) Community Service Program as they continue the Countywide Litter Blitz on Thursday, March 27, 2014. Crews from DPW&T and the Community Service Program will be removing litter and illegal signs from the primary roadways in the Clinton area.
The Litter Blitz, an initiative of County Executive Rushern L. Baker, III, is a sustained effort to keep the roadways in Prince George’s County clean and litter-free,” said DPW&T Director Darrell Mobley. “DPW&T looks forward to a continued partnership with DOCs’ Community Service Program as we work together throughout the year to remove litter from our roadways.”
