The Prince George's County Police Department is currently seeking recruit candidates to be considered for the position of Police Officer for a Class anticipated to begin late 2015. The Police Department is seeking men and women that exhibit characteristics of good character, sound judgment, honesty, reliability and integrity that blend together with a philosophy for community-oriented policing and a strong desire to serve the interest of the citizens of Prince George's County. To be considered for this class you must apply online as soon as possible, but no later than June 18, 2015, pass the Applicant Physical Requirement Test (APRT) by June 13, 2015, and pass the Written Exam by June 20, 2015. There are limited slots for these tests and they fill-up quickly.

Note: Applicants must pass the APRT in order to be scheduled for the written test. Plus, applicants that reach the level of an official background investigation, for the Academy, must take and pass the APRT a second time!
