The Cable Television Commission enforces the Prince George's County Maryland cable television franchise agreements with Comcast Cable Communications and Verizon Maryland, Inc.
The Prince George's County Cable Television Commission meets each month and the meetings are open to the public. A representative from Comcast & Verizon are present at every meeting.
The Commission meetings are held monthly on the fourth (4th) Wednesday of each month at 6:00pm in the Largo Government Center, 9201 Basil Court, Largo Maryland. Because schedules can and do change, we advise you contact the Cable Television Division at (301) 952-3990 to confirm the date and time of the next meeting.
If you live in an incorporated Municipality, it is likely that the Municipality grants and enforces its own franchises. In that case, the Prince George's County Cable Television Commission has no authority over cable television matters within that incorporated municipality. However, the Cable Television Commission will work with you to locate the appropriate contact in your Municipality. Additionally, your "franchise authority" information is located on your cable bill.
