Prince George's Health Enterprise Zone (PGCHEZ) Coalition
The Prince George's County
Health Enterprise Zone (HEZ) is bringing quality, affordable healthcare to
residents in the 20743 zip code.
Currently, residents in 20743 have limited access to medical
providers in their neighborhood. A joint commitment between the Maryland
Community Health Resources Commission (MCHRC), the Maryland Department of
Health and Mental Hygiene (DHMH), and the Prince George's County Health
Department will bring more doctors, nurses, and medical care to residents in
20743. By 2016, HEZ will expand and establish five new practices that will serve more than 10,000 residents in the Zone.
