IV Alumni Center at the University of Maryland, College Park, Prince George’s
County Executive Rushern L. Baker, III will be joined by Governor Martin
O’Malley, Lt. Governor Anthony Brown, U.S. Senator Barbara Mikulski, U.S.
Senator Ben Cardin, U.S. Representative Steny Hoyer, U.S. Representative Donna
F. Edwards, Maryland State Delegate Jolene Ivy, Maryland State Senator Doug
Peters and Prince George’s County Council Chairman Mel Franklin to promote
Prince George's County as the right choice for relocating the new, consolidated
Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) headquarters. The new FBI headquarters is
estimated to be a $2 billion economic development project and home to 11,000
jobs. This event was originally scheduled for Monday, March 3, 2014 and
was postponed due to inclement weather.
