Prince George’s County Receives “Big Check” from United Way NCA Community Impact Funds at 10:00 a.m.
County Executive Baker to Receive Statement of Support from the Maryland State Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve at 11:15 a.m. 

Upper Marlboro, MD – Tomorrow morning at 10:00 a.m. in the 1st floor Media Room of the County Administration Building, Prince George’s County Executive Rushern L. Baker, III will join the United Way of the National Capital Area (United Way NCA) as they present a ceremonial check totaling $152,316 – representing grants to 14 nonprofit organizations in Prince George’s County. Each of the grants directly addresses United Way NCA's focus areas of education, financial stability and health.

At 11:15 a.m., County Executive Baker will receive a Statement of Support from the Maryland State Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve for his support of Maryland State Military Reserves and National Guard.  County Executive Baker was a Captain in the Army Reserve JAG Corp from 1988-2005.
