Upper Marlboro, MD – Prince George’s County Executive Rushern L. Baker, III will be participating in two runs this weekend.  On Saturday, October 19, the County Executive will participate in the Prince George’s County Crime Victims Fund Run 5k in College Park, MD at 9:00 a.m., and the Army Ten-Miler on Sunday, October 20 at 8:00 a.m.  Since taking office and being advised by his physician to improve his health, County Executive Baker began regular morning runs, including running with the Prince George’s County Police and Fire cadets, as well as in many charity runs around the County.

“I look forward to running in both these events this weekend that support great causes. The Crime Victim’s Fund is an amazing resource and asset in Prince George’s County and I am looking forward to running the Army Ten-Miler in honor of my father, who was a Master Sargent in the U.S. Army,” said Prince George’s County Executive Rushern L.
