Trash and Recycling Collections Resume at a Delayed Start Time on Tuesday, March 4

​Crews to resume pickups; however some areas may not be reached due to icy road conditions

LARGO, MD – The Prince George’s County Department of Resources (DER) announces all bulky and regular trash, recycling and yard waste collections are on schedule to resume today, Tuesday, March 4, 2014 at a delayed start time.  However, residents are advised that some areas may not be reached today due to icy road conditions and will resume as road conditions are evaluated. 

In addition, all operating services located at the Brown Station Road Sanitary Landfill in Upper Marlboro including the Brown Station Road Public Container Pad and Recycling Area, the Household Hazardous Acceptance Site, the Electronics Recycling Acceptance Site, yard waste, scrap tire and appliance disposal sites are open on time. The Missouri Avenue Solid Waste Acceptance and Recycling Center in Brandywine is also open today.
