LARGO, MD - The Prince George’s County Department of Permitting, Inspections and Enforcement (DPIE) today announced that Leeland Road/Oak Grove Road, from Church Road to Moores Plains Boulevard, will be closed to traffic beginning Monday, January 13, 2014 and will reopen to traffic on Friday, August 8, 2014. The temporary road closure is necessary for the Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission (WSSC) to construct a water main.
Once Leeland Road is closed, detour signs and variable message signs will be placed to direct traffic. Drivers need to stay alert and look for reduced speeds and detour signs.
If you have any questions or require additional information regarding this matter, please contact Mr. Erv Beckert, Chief, Utility and Technical Support Section, DPIE, at (301) 883-5714.
