Process Transformation Team

The Process Transformation Team began in April of 2012 with the sole purpose of bringing together stakeholders such as homeowners, developers, permit expeditors, small business owners, architects and design professionals to provide feedback and recommendations on Prince George’s County’s entitlement and permitting processes. This interaction gives staff and industry professionals an opportunity to be on the same page about questions, concerns and recommendations.  Many of these recommendations have been incorporated into this new Department of Permitting, Inspections and Enforcement.  We are grateful to all who have participated in this ongoing process.

Some of the topics discussed to date include:
The Bond Process
Site/Road Reviews
Accelerated permit process to expedite tenant fit-outs
Examine issues associated with U&Os
Examine issues associated with signs
Environmental Reviews

This group meets every two months at the Prince George’s County Economic Development Corporation, located at 1801 McCormick Drive, 4th floor in Largo, Maryland. You are invited to come and discuss questions and concerns. Topics and materials for each meeting will be posted on this page.  We look forward to seeing you soon.
