On this Fourth of July, our national Independence Day, we reflect and celebrate the precious freedoms that make the United States of America unique in the history of the world's civilizations.  In Prince George's County, we are striving to do our part to build a more perfect union, so that all of our residents can live up to their full potential and find their part of the American Dream.  On this day and every day, 238 years after our founding, may we never take for granted that we are blessed to live in the greatest nation on Earth and always remember that we still must pursue the unfinished business of expanding opportunity to all.
