Prince George’s County Council Chair Andrea C. Harrison will join D.C. Council Chairman Phil Mendelson, and Montgomery County Council Member Marc Elrich at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, October 9, 2013, at the Metropolitan Washington Council of Governments, for a press conference announcing the details of a regional collaboration to establish a minimum wage of $11.50 per hour in each of their jurisdictions.
The coordinated effort marks a new level of collaboration among the local governments.
