COUNTY COUNCIL'S PUBLIC SAFETY AND FISCAL MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE CONVENES JUNE 26

The Prince George’s County Council Committee on Public Safety and Fiscal Management (PSFM) will convene on Thursday, June 26, 2014, 1:30 p.m.  in the County Administration Building, Council Committee Room 2027, 14741 Governor Oden Bowie Drive in Upper Marlboro.
 
June 26th PSFM Committee meeting agenda items include the following appointments and proposed legislation:
 
APPOINTMENTS  
Personnel Board:  Appointees: Toby L. Burt and Francisco J. Gomez
Fire Commission for Prince George’s County: Appointees: James Robert Breen and Kenneth Stacks, Jr. 
CB-35-2014 – An Act concerning Supplementary Appropriations for the purpose of declaring additional revenue and appropriating to the General Fund to provide for costs that were not anticipated and included in the Approved Fiscal Year 2014 Budget and making an adjustment to the Internal Service Fund budget for Fiscal Year 2014. 
CB-40-2014 – An Act concerning Supplementary Appropriations for the purpose of declaring additional revenue and appropriating the General Fund to provide for costs that were not anticipated and included in the Approved Fiscal Year 2014 Budget and making an adjustment to revenue estimates to the Special Revenue Fund for Fiscal Year 2014. 
CR-43-2014 – A Resolution concerning Supplementary Appropriations of Federal, State, other funds in the amount of $10,601,963 to support grant programs in the Department of Social Services, Office of Homeland Security, Circuit Court, Department of Family Services, Health Department, Police Department and Department of Environmental Resources. 
CR-55-2014 – A Resolution concerning School Facilities Surcharge for the purpose of adjusting the school facilities surcharge for inflation for Fiscal Year 2015, as required by State Law. 
CR-56-2014 – A Resolution concerning the Public Safety Surcharge for the purpose of adjusting the Public Safety Surcharge to reflect changes in inflation for Fiscal Year 2015, as required by State Law. 
CR-44-2014- A Resolution to amend the Salary Plan, Salary Schedule G for General Schedule employees effective July 1, 2014 through June 30, 2015. 
CR-45-2014- A Resolution to amend Salary Schedule C-O for Corrections Officials in the Department of Corrections, effective July 1, 2014, through June 30, 2015.   
CR-46-2014 –  A Resolution to amend Salary Schedule F-O for Fire Officials in the Fire Department, effective July 1, 2014 through June 30, 2015. 
CR-47-2014 – A Resolution to amend Salary Schedule P-O for Police Officials in the Police Department, effective July 1, 2014 through June 30, 2015. 
CR-48-2014 – A Resolution to amend Salary Schedule “S-O” for Sheriff Officials in the Office of the Sheriff, effective July 1, 2014 through June 30, 2015. 
CB-14-2014 –An Act approving the issuance and sale of special obligation bonds in the aggregate principal amount of $3,000,000 in order to finance planned infrastructure improvements within the Calvert Tract Special Taxing District.
