Chairman Franklin to Update Media on Council’s Review of Proposed FY 2015 Budget
 
 
Prince George’s County Council Chairman Mel Franklin (D) – District 9, will provide an update on the progress of the County Council’s current review of the proposed FY 2015 County Budget, during the first of a series of monthly media briefings to be held on Tuesday, May 6, 2014 at 9:00 a.m.   The media briefing will take place in the Council Media Room, on the First Floor of the County Administration Building, 14741 Gov. Oden Bowie Dr., in Upper Marlboro.
 
According to the Charter, the Council must adopt a new County spending plan by June 1.  Following the update, Chairman Franklin will open the meeting to questions on the budget, or other topics of concern.  This briefing is on the record.
