Officers Receiving Governor's Crime Prevention Award


UPPER MARLBORO, MD – Three Prince George’s County Corrections’ officers were awarded the Governor’s Crime Prevention Award for preventing an inmate’s attempt to murder a key witness.  Sergeant Anthony Grillo, Sergeant LaTasha Humphries, and Lieutenant Dundas Orr received a commendation from the State’s Attorney’s Office and the awards were presented by Colonel Marcus L. Brown of the Maryland State Police. The awards ceremony took place on Tuesday, December 4 in Glen Burnie, MD.
