The Prince George's County Police Department (PGPD) is seeking honest, reliable men and women of good character, with sound judgment and integrity, who will blend successfully with a departmental philosophy of community-oriented policing.
Applicants should meet the following minimum qualifications:
- U.S. citizenship
- High school graduate (60+ college credit hours preferred)
- 21 years of age upon graduation from the Police Academy
- Possess a valid driver's license

- Physical Agility Test
- Completion and Submission of Personal History Statement
- Audio/Vision Screening
- Polygraph Examination
- Background Investigation
- Psychological Screening
- Medical Examination
- Graduation from the Prince George's County Police Academy
