Holiday Closings For Labor Day

LARGO, MD – The Prince George’s County Department of Environmental Resources (DER) announces the Labor Day holiday closings. The following facilities and services will be closed or suspended on Sunday, September 4, 2004 and Monday, September 5, 2005 (Labor Day):

• Brown Station Road Sanitary Landfill Closed
• Electronics Recycling Acceptance Site Located at the Brown Station Road Sanitary Landfill (Open Sundays only): Closed
• Household Hazardous Waste Acceptance Site Located at the Brown Station Road Sanitary Landfill (Open Sundays only): Closed
• Brown Station Road Public Container Pad and Recycling Drop-off: Closed
• Missouri Avenue Waste Acceptance and Recycling Drop-off: Closed
• Trash Collection in County-Contracted Areas: No Collection
  (Collection will resume on the next regularly scheduled collection day)
• Curbside Recycling Collection: No Collection
  (Collection will resume on the next regularly scheduled collection day)
