OFFICIAL NOTICE - License renewal protest information.

Alcoholic Beverage Licenses are issued by the Board of License Commissioners based on public accommodation. A fully completed application is filed with the Board's Office pursuant to the hearing schedule and then scheduled for a Public Hearing. At the hearing, the Board accepts evidence and testimony. Based on the information provided, the Board determines which application would best serve to accommodate the public and subsequently, is granted the alcoholic beverage license advertised. The Board of License Commissioners has a limited number of licenses to issue; therefore, an application for an alcoholic beverage license may not be considered prima facia evidence that the applicant(s) is/are entitled to a license.
