Home Energy Audits:  Save Money, Go Green

Learn how to make your home more comfortable, healthy, safe, and energy efficient on Monday, December 8th at 7pm at the New Carrollton Branch Library.  Presented by David C. Brosch of Green Homes Blue Sky, LLC and in partnership with the Prince George’s County Council.

Change your Clock, Change Your Battery

The Prince George’s Fire/EMS Department would like to remind you to change the batteries in your smoke alarms.  Residents are encouraged to test smoke alarms monthly, install smoke alarms on every level of your home, and replace alarms 10 years old or older.

Sadly over a year ago we lost a cherished civic activist from the Riverdale Heights community to a house fire.  I want to make a special point that we all replace the batteries in our smoke detectors.
