Dear
Friends,
The
last week has been incredibly unusual and I want to
thank our County staff for all of the extra hours they
have spent to address earthquake concerns and Hurricane
Irene. Also, thank you to all of the residents of
District 3 for preparing for the storm and helping to
clean up after the event. From conversations with
our Public Safety team, I understand the County is
exploring some additional alert services to be used in
emergency situations. As details become available,
I will forward them to your attention. Here's
hoping for a calmer fall.
There
are a lot of events and activities coming up, so please
take the time to participate. If you have further questions on
any matters, please contact my office.
Thank you,

Eric
Olson Council Member, District 3 (301) 952-3060
