Holiday Closings for New Year's Day
LARGO, MD – The Prince George’s County Department of Environmental
Resources (DER) announces the following closings for New Year’s Day. The
following facilities and services will be closed or suspended on Saturday,
January 1, 2005.

Brown Station Road Sanitary Landfill

Brown Station Road Public Container
Pad and Recycling Facility

Closed

Missouri Avenue Waste Acceptance
and Recycling Drop-off

Closed

Trash Collection in County

No Collection on Saturdays

Curbside Recycling Collection

No Collection on Saturdays
|
All waste management facilities and services will operate on a normal
schedule on Friday, December 31, 2004 and Sunday, January 2, 2005. However, on Friday,
December 31, 2004, the Missouri Avenue Waste Acceptance and Recycling Drop-off
and the Brown Station Road Public Container Pad will operate from 7:30 a.m.
to 4:00 p.m.
