Instructions for Conducting the Infection Control Training Class

Conducting the Infection Control Training Class as an Individual
1. If an individual needs to complete the Infection Control Training class, they must notify their immediate supervisor/volunteer officer that they are going to complete the training.
2. The individual will then open the Infection Control Training Class (Microsoft PowerPoint ).
3. When the presentation is finished, the individual will notify their immediate supervisor/volunteer officer that the class is complete.
4. The battalion chief/volunteer chief will complete, sign and submit the Infection Control Training Class Roster (PDF) to the Fire/EMS Training Academy.

Conducting the Infection Control Training Class as a Station Level Drill
1. If a station officer/volunteer officer is going to conduct the Infection Control Training class as a station level drill, the station officer/volunteer officer will open the Infection Control Training Class (Microsoft PowerPoint ) and review the material with their members.
2. When the presentation is finished, the station officer/volunteer officer will complete and submit the Infection Control Training Class Roster (PDF) to their battalion chief/volunteer chief.
3. The battalion chief/volunteer chief will review, sign and submit the Infection Control Training Class Roster to the Fire/EMS Training Academy
