Council Update on Hospital Situation

The Prince George’s County Council is working diligently to ensure that the hospital system, a private corporation, remains open. 

We do not anticipate the closure of the hospital, and urge the calm, strategic and thoughtful environment necessary to accomplish a long-term, comprehensive approach to a viable healthcare system.

We are still actively negotiating and will update the situation as new information becomes available.
