Applications for Notary Public Commission

Applications for Notary Public Commission can be obtained from the Office of the Clerk of the Circuit Court for Prince George's County, you may also download an application at the Secretary of State's web site.

Once your application has been submitted and approved, you will be notified to appear before the Clerk of the Circuit Court to take the oath of office and receive your Notary Commission. The applicant must pay a fee of $11.00 to the Clerk and take the oath of office. The appointee then receives the commission and is qualified to act as a notary public.
