Alternative Dispute Resolution Division

Mission Statement
The mission of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Division is to fulfill the growing need for conflict resolution alternatives facilitated through mediation which renders settlement of conflict arising in discrimination complaints.

Composition of Division & Responsibilities
The Alternative Dispute Resolution Division of the Human Relations Commission is comprised of (2) Mediators. This division is responsible for the coordination and administering of mediation sessions, conducted on behalf of Complainants and Respondents who agree to mediate their disputes as an alternative form of resolution, when a complaint of discrimination has been filed with the agency.
