Member of the North Carolina Bar since 1974. Employed 1974 - 2001 as a Tax Attorney, Office of Chief Counsel at the Internal Revenue Service. Currently provides the overall policy direction of the Redevelopment Authority, approving all programs regarding real estate development and redevelopment. |

Born and raised in Charleston, S.C. where he earned his B.S. in Architectural Engineering at A&T State University, in 1966; M.B.A. from Central
Michigan University and Project Management Certification from the School of Program Management in Ft. Belvoir. Currently a member of Professional Photographers of America. |

Walter Lewis |
A Board Member on the County Task Force on Education Funding and the Friends of Suitland Visual and Performing Arts High School. Earned a B.A. in History and Secondary Education from Xavier University in New Orleans; an M.A. in Education from Howard University. He is currently a Board Member of the Maryland State Board of Pilots.

Earned a B.S. in Business Administration and currently a candidate for a M.S. in Divinity and a B.S. in Natural Medicine. Founder and author of an innovative training company and developer of a fundamental training curriculum working in tandem with existing programs that support the federal Welfare Reform Initiative. |

The youngest of fraternal twins born in Philadelphia. Earned her B.A. in Psychology from Seton Hall University in 1983. Worked in the criminal justice field for twenty years with the D.C . Department of Corrections as a Correctional Officer and Correctional Case Manager. Currently with the Court Services and Offender Supervision Agency as a Federal Probation/Parole Officer. |

Resident of Prince George’s County since 1999 working in Information Technology for over 15 years. Pursuing a dual Master’s degree in
Technology Management and Business Administration at the University of Maryland. Currently with Lockheed Martin as a Senior Database
Administrator for the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.

Born in Washington, D.C., resident of Prince George’s County for over 35 years. Served 4 years in the U.S. Air Force. Attended Federal City College. Worked in several Federal agencies in information technology. Retired from the U.S. Department of Justice. Currently working as a real estate agent in Maryland. |
The Board of Directors provides the overall policy
direction of the organization and approves all programs and real estate
development or redevelopment activities prior to forwarding
recommendations to the County Executive. The Redevelopment Authority is governed by a Board of Directors that
is comprised of seven public and two ex-officio members.
A nine-member Community
Advisory Committee, consisting of a representative from each of the
County's councilmanic districts, assists and advises the Authority's
Board in the development and implementation of outreach to and within
communities where redevelopment efforts are directed.
The Board of Directors meets on the first Monday of each month, except August, at the Largo Government Center, 9201 Basil Court, 5th floor conference room, Largo, MD 20774. The meetings begin at 6:00pm and are open to the public. The building is accessible.
