Mission

The mission of the Office of Community Relations (OCR) is to promote the goals and programs of the County Executive by fostering good community relationships, and by addressing the needs of citizens of Prince George's County.

Description of Services

OCR Office Brochure

OCR is committed to earning the citizens' trust by putting their needs first. We have a new attitude of common sense government that works better and costs less. Providing first-class service is more than just a slogan to us. It is our commitment to find out what citizens want and then continually improve the ways we deliver services to meet their expectations.

Accountability, information sharing and public trust are the cornerstone of the agency’s new business culture. Today, the agency is stronger, abler, focused and more proactive in the communities across Prince George's County.

OCR benchmark is performance-based and our new logo is "Putting Citizens First". OCR is striving to give our citizens a One-Stop Shop. We are a seamless system, customer-relations driven, and the first point of contacts for information.

The tasks are accomplished through timely and effective responses to citizens' concerns, and by providing first-class service on vital county services.
