Child Development
Babies need much more than food and water to grow up healthy. Taking an active role in their development can be exciting, enriching, and rewarding. The Prince George's County Infants and Toddlers Program is part of a statewide program for infant and toddlers up to 36 months of age who are experiencing developmental delays.
If you believe your child is having difficulty in a particular developmental area, this program may be of help. Services are designed to enhance a child's potential for growth and development, including physical, occupational and speech therapies, special instruction, home visits, and linkages to other services such as the WIC nutritional program and Medical Assistance. Services are provided at no cost to the family.
