Award for Excellence
The Food Protection Program, Prince George’s County Health Department,
in conjunction with County Executive Jack B. Johnson, has begun the Award
for Excellence in Food Service. This new program is part of
Prince George’s County’s Livable Communities Initiative that
serves to enhance the quality of life for Prince George’s County citizens
and residents.
The Award for Excellence is a voluntary program that will recognize
facilities that maintain the exterior and customer service sections of
their establishments
in a clean, sanitary and aesthetically pleasing manner. There are minimum
standards that must be met and maintained in order to qualify for this award.
