Targeted Case Management

The Prince George’s County Department of Family Services seeks Expressions of Interest to provide targeted case management services to the following priority populations:

  • Adults with a serious mental illness who are at risk of going into, or will be released from, an inpatient hospital stay; homeless or in Shelter Plus Care; residing in independent housing and need of services to retain their housing; or being released from a detention center.
  • Children and adolescents with serious emotional disturbances who are in or at risk of inpatient psychiatric treatment, treatment in a Residential Treatment Center (RTC) or an out of home placement due to multiple life stressors.

Crisis Response System

The Prince George’s County Department of Family Services, Mental Health and Disabilities Administration seeks applicants to operate a Crisis Response System (CRS) in Prince George’s County that shall render services to adults and children in crisis, and coordinate their mental health and somatic needs through community providers licensed as an Outpatient Mental Health Center (OMHC) as per COMAR 10.21.20.

Transitional Age Youth

The Prince George’s County Department of Family Services, Mental Health and Disabilities Administration seeks applicants to provide services to Transitional Age Youth (TAY) with families. Applicant will be expected to provide housing and supportive services to six family units headed by a parent aged 16-23 who has a mental illness that are necessary to allow these young adults to live independently and productively in the community and to provide support to children living in their care. Applicant must be approved by the State of Maryland as a Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program (PRP) under COMAR 10.21.21 and 10.21.29 and Residential Rehabilitation Program (RRP) under COMAR 10.21.22.
